Cardiac Monitor Technician (CMT) Training Program
CMTs work closely with RNs, Physicians, and other healthcare personnel in the delivery of care during a patient's hospital stay. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, recognition of cardiac arrhythmias, and documentation on cardiac monitor strips and identifying heart rhythm changes and trends.
- Receive on-the-job training while you work as a Health First Associate
- 5-week blended learning course provides hands-on experience with clinical and virtual classes
- Books and material costs are included
- No experience required, must have High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program
We'll cover your tuition - you'll get a head start on your future. CNAs work alongside nurses and physicians at our Health First hospitals. CNA responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, responding to patient calls, feeding, bathing and moving patients, and documenting patient information.
- Tuition assistance - Health First will provide financial assistance to cover the costs of your CNA program tuition.
- Gain valuable, on-the-job experience while in school. Work per diem, a minimum of 12 hours per month, as a Nursing Support Assistant at one of four Health First hospital locations.
- Easy transition into a CNA position - As a Health First associate you will transition into a CNA position upon completion of the course and obtaining your certification.
- No experience required, must have High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomist Training Program
As a phlebotomist, you would be responsible for using aseptic or sterile technique in the extraction of blood from patients via venipuncture or capillary collection. Proper identification of patients and laboratory specimens as well as proper transportation methods to performing departments requires critical thinking and communication skills.
